The 24km walk follows the former railway line from Tanjong Pagar in the South to Woodlands in the North of the island, which was closed in 2011. Originally the path simply followed the former way route, with some of the railway track was still visible. We are all familiar with the Green Corridor, which stretches from Tanjong Pagar in the south of Singapore to Woodlands in the north. I haven't tried hiking the entire route in one try but what I did was hiked the Kranji portion of the Green Corridor which in my opinion, is probably the most underrated piece of green space in SG. With the Green Corridor, I didn’t need to look further. Clearly one of Singapore’s best kept secrets, this is a lengthy stretch of a walking trail that follows a former rail track and snakes it’s way from Tanjong Pagar rail station to the Bukit Timah rail station.
